Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pay attention and take a lot of notes. Lectures may be a little too long but I can assure you that as long as you stay focused on the class and take a lot of good notes, you'll succeed. Its as simple as that. Applying some common sense is basically what you need to do here. No buts. No ifs. Just do.

    Course highlights:

The course really drives you to taking down good notes. Lectures of course all require this but with this course, you really need to make sure that your note-taking skills are up to bar. The information is really rich while staying simple. Its specific though. Kinda like how a small, little lemon can produce a gallon of juice. The information stays simple and brief but its concise and holds a lot of rich details that depend on your note-taking skills in order to extract the knowledge you can get from a lecture or lesson from this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Good note taking skills and a good attention span. You really need a lot of sleep too as this course can overwhelm you if you don't come prepared. Healthy diet is another factor to pay attention to. This course is not too easy but its also not to hard. Just stay balanced and you will definitely do good and succeed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd 100% recommend Professor Kucich's seminar to others. It was one of my first classes that I took as a freshman at Notre Dame. It was a small 15 person seminar-style class, and the title of the class was classed "On the Road: Literature of the Quest." Professor Kucich was amazing!

    Course highlights:

The main highlight of the course was the spontaneous energy that Professor Kucich brought to the classroom each and every day. He was always so excited to discuss whatever book we had read for that class; he got very into demonstrating scenes or narrating the different voices of characters. Every class brought something new! We learned about the theme of questing throughout various time periods starting with the Odyssey and ending with Jack Keroac's On The Road.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just keep up with the readings! And participate in class discussions as much as you can - he really appreciates students' opinions.
