This class was tough.
The teacher, Antonio Ache, provides very little instruction and explanation, and although he understands the material, he cannot explain it clearly in English, or without dropping his chalk behind the blackboard. His class time was not preparation for the exams, which were much more difficult than the homework.
I learned how to skip classes and learn more from the textbook and online materials than I would in class. Since it is not one of the highest level courses, and is the last course in math I would need to take for my major, I experienced my first failures and academic course drop.

Advice for students:
Be prepared to spend a lot of time with calculus to try to understand it. Never be satisfied with an example you've seen because they will test you on your mastery of new applications of skills. Good news: Calc 2 has the reputation as the hardest math class at ND.
