Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course explains the journey of the Americans who came to the United States for a better life. The writings of American Literature from this era further explains the hearts and minds of the citizens of this "new country". After all these people had found themselves in the most blessed place on Earth. They had a lot to be grateful for. It is reflected in the writings of this era.

    Course highlights:

I learned that America was believed to be the actual "Promised Land" from the Bible. That the Untied States was created by Christians seeking a better life than they had had under British rule and oppressive policies from abroad. That the covenant between man and God had been fulfilled by the discovery and settlement of America where no dream is impossible.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course with an open heart and open mind. Be aware that the United States did not just pop up out of just anywhere. That the people who came here to settle might as well have been taking the same sort of chance as someone taking a chance to fly to Mars today and re-establish their lives. These people believed strongly in the Bible and God and because of this the most incredible country in the world was formed.
