    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is the course that helped me decide on my major. When taking this class I was still unsure of what I wanted for my future career aspirations. After completing this course, passing with flying colors, and receiving positive feedback from my professor, I felt confident enough to pursue a degree in biology.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Siegel is wonderful, and passionate about what he does! He even brings live animals to class for "critter breaks." It's a very broad biology class so we covered topics of environmental conservation, climate change, how genes and traits are passed on, Mendelian genetics, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the coursework, as it continues to build off of previous material. The tests can be challenging, but studying and showing up to class makes them much more manageable. This class can be used for the lab science core, which I also took astronomy for. I would definitely recommend BIOL120 over the other sciences I've taken.
