    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if it's a course that's required. It is not an easy course however; depending on the professor the material may or may not be hard to grasp.

    Course highlights:

I learned to take my time. Most of the time a student knows what they are doing, they however make small mathematical errors and this will make the answer wrong. Also always include units/

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to do the practice problems that the professor recommends in the book. Also he acclimated to the way your professor writes. If you understand the writing style it makes answering questions a little less stressful

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because this teacher truly cares about his students and wants them to be successful.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class was learning about molecular structures. I learned how the structures look as three structures

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study the information you learn throughout the week because the information comes fast.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class that I took was from 6-7:50 pm and so obviously it was a difficult class to concentrate in. The professor provided plenty of breaks to combat this, however, the material was nearly impossible. In introductory chemistry class should not be a weeding-out class. The entire department is like this. The class was difficult to pass an impossible to get a good grade in. Teachers in the department should teach better or the curriculum should be re-thought.

    Course highlights:

I did learn the basics of chemistry

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not rely on professors to teach this course. Buy the book, actually read it, and teach yourself the material. Use resources provided such as practice problems and online tutorials in order to not get caught off guard by tests that are much more difficult than the material taught in lecture.
