Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is bias. She tries not to be but it inevitably comes through in her very opinionated lectures. She could also work on her attitude. She doesn’t like tardiness however, she will start her class early and have an attitude for students that come in after she begins.

    Course highlights:

The morale of her course is to understand the signs of domestic abuse and be able to get away. I can firmly say that I have identified the signs and definitely know how to get away!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay current on all articles and take notes, specifically whatever she writes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has influenced the way I think about the world in many different ways. I learned about current, and past, social issues in an in-depth way and was challenged to use new perspectives when looking at these issues. I now have a better understanding of the world around me and have uncovered many truths about social issues that I was not aware of before. I was educated thoroughly on various issues surrounding sexism, racism, able-bodyism, LGBT rights, and many other hot topics. This course has made me a more well rounded individual and has given me knowledge in several subjects that I did not even know existed.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the many intellectual documentaries that we viewed during the class. These were very informational as well as entertaining to watch. I also enjoyed talking about sexism and how it was relevant to my life in college. Overall, the course was very interesting as well as relevant and informational.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to read the textbook and come prepared to class! This will help you during class discussions and will better prepare you for the midterm and final. Study very hard for the midterm and final because these are the only two tests that are given the entire semester.
