Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was unfortunately very unprepared, and did not seem to understand basic methods of teaching. While he was most certainly intelligent, this did not translate well through his teaching, as he, likely unintentionally, ridiculed students for asking questions by belittling them for not already knowing the answers. He also relied far to much on the text, and although the text was a wonderful resource, in the case that a student struggled, the teacher was of little help.

    Course highlights:

The TA was lovely, and frequently helped us with lab/coding assignments, as well as basic questions that we did not feel comfortable asking the professor, or did not receive adequate explanation for. The concept of the course, in regard to learning the basic tenants of coding was fascinating, and I greatly enjoyed completing labs when I was able to understand them/got help from the TA.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I do not recommend students take this course from Dr. Davani, but should the student not have any other option, I recommend careful readings of the text, question the TA, Ms. Sangita, and frequent coding practice. During class time, you will most likely learn nothing from the teacher, so it is best to study your text and take notes on it during this time.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Overall the class is easy and this professor gives out a lot of extra credit if you show up for class. This is definitely your easy A class again as long as you go to class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be interested in the material and definitely go to class.
