Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is an intro to the entire major basically. It teaches you what you need to know and challenges your skills. The professor is always available to explain and work through tough problems.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of insight from the difference of computer languages. Taking 175 helped a lot with this class since Java and C++ languages are very similar. I enjoyed learning about the separate classes you can create yourself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read up on the Power Points, use the study resources the professor puts online and make sure to ask about anything you're confused about.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is worth noting that the professor is not a native English speaker, in fact most of the professors in the Computer Science department are not native English speakers, but she will make sure that you understand the material at a very thourough rate. She has a website for any material that you may miss due to circumstances, plus she really prepares you for the next level of course study. 4/5 Don't let the rating fool you, the course is extremely tough. I got an A but heard that our class was the best she had in a long time. Average Grade for the course is usually mid to low range C. Expect alot of difficulties

    Course highlights:

The main highlights were the uses of Array and subarrays. There were some shortcuts that were taught just incase, but the main word of the course is EFFICIENCY (Excuse the caps).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Brush up on your C++ skills, they are your fall back incase you are having issues because 9 times out of 10 it happened the same way in C++.
