    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She is an amazing professor. She breaks down the information so it is easier to understand.

    Course highlights:

My first exam I got a D and was very discouraged. After going to her office hours and applying myself I aced the next two exams and ended the semester with an A. Anything is possible.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this class as a joke. Even though it is a 100 level class it is not easy.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I honestly probably wouldn't recommend this course to anybody who is required to take it because it has a lot of in depth material on biology and you don't need to stress yourself if not necessary.

    Course highlights:

This class focused on going in depth with basic biology. Some of the units include DNA, genetics, cells and ecology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! Rewrite your notes, read the book, look up video examples, and definitely find a study partner.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Shah is relativly new at teaching this course, but she is very knowledgable and helpful. For this class you never want to fall behind, because the content builds on itself. For that i recomend reading the textbook or simply watching helpful videos to ensure proper mastery.

    Course highlights:

I learned to connect a lot of very simple scientific concepts, such as difusion, to real medical scenerios like bladder stones for instance. The class was very comprehensive, as the lessons seemed to follow a linear progression of a sort.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Its important that you start off strong, given that it's a very fast pace class, it's very easy to fall behind. Its equally important not to lose steam for the same reason. If you take both those pieces of advice you will do just fine!
