    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because I really enjoyed it. I thought it was gonna be boring but it definitely not. I checked my class everyday because doing the work and getting such good grades was just so interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned what it meant to be an intentional learner. Also how to critically read and write. Also what type of leaner I was. The highlights of this course was finding out that I was a dynamic learner. Another highlight was just being in the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for students considering this course would be be ready to get deep into understanding one who you are and how you learn.Understand that this course will help you learn easier also how much easier it will make your life once you learn what you learn in this course. It will also make you ask why you haven't learned what you will learn in highschool.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

At first, I was not excited about this class at all. I thought it would be a waste of time and waste of money. I am currently on week 4 of the class and I absolutely love it! I didn't know I could learn so much about myself, critical reading and writing, and all about my learning patterns. Great way to start the beginning of my journey with Ashford!

    Course highlights:

We had to take a survey called the LCI which tells you all about your individual learning patterns and the best way you learn. This has actually already helped me because I know exactly how to start out every assignment and what to switch over to, if I'm experiencing trouble.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say just to use your time wisely. I usually read the book on Sunday and Monday so I am ready for the upcoming week. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, I do all the assignments that are due on day 3 (Thursday). Then Friday and Saturday I do all my assignments that are due on Day 7 (Monday). That way I am always a few steps ahead, just so I don't miss something and not have enough time to get everything done.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was a great introduction to online learning and helped to get acquainted with how everything worked as an Ashford student. How to use the library, writing center, submit quiz answers, using Waypoint, and accessing my course materials through Constellation.

    Course highlights:

I learned about my learning patterns. What kind of a learner I was. What patterns I used first and when needed. I also learned how I could FIT those patterns so that I could use them to my best advantage in every facet of my life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I do recommend this course to those beginning their higher education. It helps you to "learn to be a learner". It is a great prep course. This course offers a lot of insight into yourself and I found it to be very useful in this regard. The LCI scores and Personal Learning Profile were highlights of this course for me.
