Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Pearson is very active in ensuring that you know what is asked of you and that you understand the information. If you need additional help, Professor Pearson is the first to recommend the tutoring and self-help options offered by the university.

    Course highlights:

I always thought of myself as a strong student, especially in English. I was a straight A student all through grade school through high school graduation, but being out of school over a decade makes you forget a lot of things. This course reminded me of grammar rules and sentence structure that I had long forgotten. What is APA style? I had no clue, but it is a format used to turn in proper papers. Without this class, I would be a mess.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you have the time to fully commit to the class. I had other students talking about skipping the readings or ignoring the text book all together because the amount of writing was overwhelming for them. If you cannot dedicate the time required to read the text, write and re-write drafts and actively engage in discussions, don't bother.
