    Course Overview:

    The textbook has good information and I did learn a lot during this class. The discussion questions are sometimes a little bit confusing.

    Course highlights:

    We learned about Urie Bronfenbrenner's Ecological system and how it impacts patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, cancer, Parkinson's, and addiction.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you understand Urie Bronfenbrenner's Theory, Person-in-Environment, and Biopsychosocial Theory which you will learn during the first 2 weeks because the entire class is based on it.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course to anyone who is going into the medical field. This course teaches you about many different types of medical issues and the affect on mental issues that a person has to deal with.

    Course highlights:

    I have gained the knowledge of learning how to deal with patients who develop depression from a chronic disease and how to help your patients lead a fulfilling life.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    You need to dedication to read the chapters assigned through its entirety and make the time to study.
