Understand: What a confidence interval is. How a confidence interval compares to a t-test. What the two types of the Chi Square test are. When to use each form of the Chi Square test. The effect size measure for the Chi Square outcomes. Be able to: Calculate confidence intervals for one and two sample situations. Interpret a confidence interval. Develop the null and alternate hypothesis statement for both forms of the Chi Square test. Use Excel to calculate a Chi Square test. Interpret the results of a Chi Square test. Calculate appropriate effect size measures for each Chi Square test.
