    To use the Writing Center for any writing assignment. Also, read your papers out loud before turning it in to make sure it sounds right.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I love this course. It helped my writing so much. Since I want to write a book. This was the class I needed. The teacher was the best and understanding.

    Course highlights:

    English composition courses are designed to give students a firm foundation in basic writing skills. While the exact assignments you'll receive in English composition courses may vary, the skills they're meant to teach are generally the same. These courses aim to equip you with the writing skills needed to brainstorm ideas, outline an essay, and form a clear thesis. You'll also learn to support a thesis with examples and facts derived from research and to properly cite and document sources. You may acquire basic proofreading skills, such as how to check spelling, punctuation, and grammar. To better understand the components of successful writing, you might also read and discuss example essays.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Have fun with this course. You will love it and get more out of it. It will help you become a better writer.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    I love English and although I didn't find the course challenging it was thoroughly entertaining.

    Course highlights:

    The final assignment of writing a personal essay was my favorite part, the best thing I learned is how to properly compose a paper from the brainstorm to the final product, it has completely changed the way I write.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    If you're good with English it should be a breeze, if you aren't this course will be a big help. Make sure you take the time to read through everything in the book.
