Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was an interesting course and really expanded my understanding of labor unions and their political influence. I mean, I knew they had a lot of power and influence, but this course really explained the why behind that. I also thought the learning how labor relations have evolved - specifically with the timeline was very beneficial for me in that it put everything into perspective - especially with respect to the relative "newness" of labor relations.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the history of labor unions

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the text. I had family in for the first two weeks of the course and I struggled to keep up because I only got to skim and scan the text instead of reading for comprehension. One thing I would do again is READ everything - especially if you're an HRM student because it will all make sense post-graduation.
