    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I am interested in this subject. I have learned a lot about what to look for in a film.

    Course highlights:

I have gained the knowledge of what to look for what type of lighting is gone in a film. Why the lighting is important in scenes for the audience.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make type to do your class work. Manage your time wisely for this class or you will find it difficult to get your work done in time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class can be fun, if you have the time. You do get to watch films and analyze them throughout the course, but there is a lot of writing involved. Each week there is an essay due.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were some of the movie clips that we were able to choose from.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Set aside plenty of time to watch movies, read the material, and write the lengthy essays that are due each week.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Initially I was overwhelmed since I hadn't seen many of the movies introduced during the class. I did however purchase HULU & NETFLIX and which was my saving grace. The class actually ended up being a lot of fun. I find myself critiquing everything I watch from sitcoms, to dramas on television to even movies. It's difficult once you take this class to look a any film the same way

    Course highlights:

A whole new way to appreciate film especially the older films that I never wanted to watch with my mother when I was a child.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work! Get you discussions and responses done by the third day so you can spend the remainder of the week (3 days) to research and write. Have everything submitted by Sunday so Monday you can relax and prepare for the new week.
