    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Taylor remains engaged with students and gives substantial feedback.

    Course highlights:

In the military much of this is taught when you promote into supervisor and managerial positions. This course evaluates what traits, characteristics, and theories are evaluated in successful leaders and how it can be honed in anyone. Poor leaders are also evaluated and studied on what makes them underwhelming as leaders. This course prepares those who never have been a leader on what they should strive towards and reinvigorates those in current leadership roles on who they hopefully should be.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The text is very thorough and not difficult to follow along. It gives many resources to use to include many self evaluations that provide insight as to what kind of leader you are. Take the time to do them because the results may surprise you and hopefully spark a desire to be better as a leader than you already are.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course has valuable content if you have no experience in management whatsoever, but for adult learners its a bit tedious.

    Course highlights:

I truly didn't learn much, other than to realize that what works in theory, in textbooks, usually doesn't have much "real world" application. The way you have to operate as a leader/manager in real life is very very different than the scenarios set forth in texts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stat current with assignments. Be sure to work on all assignments/essays/papers a little bit at a time and well ahead of the due date.
