    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    I was not sure about entering into college at my age but when I spoke to an Ashford advisor for the first time I knew this is were I wanted to be. My advisor, Krizma Ginnane, she assured me I would get all the help I needed to get started and I would have her and the whole team in the department to help me threw it and they have. I speak with my advisor almost everyday and what ever problem I may have she or one of team members walk me threw it no matter what it may be, IT support, Writing Center the Ashford writing center and the instructors in courses I have taken so far respond quickly if I am ever having a problem submitting an assignment or need further instructions. There are many things Ashford University offers and I never could have found a better on-line college and I am so glad I made that call.

    Course highlights:

    PSY202: Adult Development and Life assessment: Has taught me a lot about myself. English 121: This was a great refresher course that has helped me with my writing that I will be a large part of my career goal.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    All careers are going to have writing involved so I would say take English course seriously and to be sure to ask for advise from not just your instructor but also your class mates there is someone who is always willing to help or can direct you to the proper source available to you in your course guide.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I recommend this course because it helps you get a better understanding about how to choose the right employee for the right job. If you want to work in the HR department this class teaches you the do and don'ts of the hiring process.

    Course highlights:

    I learned that if you are a manager of an organization that it is good to have an hiring and training program in place to find good candidates. I like how every student enter acted in the course and encouraged everyone.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do not let you work get behind and try not to do your work at the last minute. Allow yourself a good amount of study time. Even though the discussion questions are only a few points of your grade, do not feel like you don't have to participate. Everyone point counts.
