This class was tough.
This class looks to be pretty tough. Professor is nice, and responsive.
This course demonstrates how to apply selected statistical techniques to problems and situations arising in the areas of business, economics, finance, management, social science, health, psychology, and education. Topics include graphical description of data; measures of location and dispersion; probability; discrete and continuous random variables; sampling distributions and estimation; confidence intervals and hypothesis tests; simple linear regression and correlation. Evaluate the application, interpretations, and presentation of statistics. Critique research associated with the analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data. Assess statistical tables, charts, and figures published in scholarly journals to make recommendations and/or improve processes. Select appropriate statistical tests for organization/ problem solving and analysis. Explain hypothesis generation and testing.
