Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor with decades of experience in the corporate world and the detailed schedule of what to expect in the course is accurate. Flexible office hours too.

    Course highlights:

Highlights from the course include real world discussions about current business events and how the material learned is used in the real world. For example, we learned how to make a detailed budget plan that a local business could use. We learn information literacy, which emphasizes trustworthy and untrustworthy articles as well as doing the research for oneself by looking at financial statements (10-k's) and making your own decision on the issue. We learn how to classify different costs such as: Direct Costs, Indirect Costs, Direct Materials, Manufacturing Overhead, Traceable Fixed Costs, Common Fixed Costs, and Contribution Margin segments which all help a business understand their Sales Growth and Profitability.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read the textbook and complete all online homework (4-6 hours worth). Class is fun because its mostly discussion and the notes are straightforward and extensively covered so everyone understands.
