    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Perron is extremely intelligent and truly loves the subject that he teaches. Work load is very manageable, he is very willing to work with you, and cares about your success. Easy class, good way to get your Historical Perspective core out of the way

    Course highlights:

Reading responses are a good way to get homework points and help to understand the readings, and he only collects them every so often. The material is interesting, ancient Rome is interesting especially if you are at least kind of into history/don't hate it. Professor Perron always has good insight on topics and lots of experience traveling and seeing examples of the history in person. Also, the midterm and final allow for a page of notes!!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

At least try on the readings, it's not too hard to at least skim it and get a general idea. As long as you pay attention in the lectures and discussions you should be fine.
