Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Having taken Psych before, Fingerhut brings a whole new perspective to psych. His lectures are inspiring and he has a wonderul, blunt sense of humor. Though I have covered the subject matter before, I feel as though it is all new information with him.

    Course highlights:

He spends a lot of time connecting psych terms to real life, current social issues. I learned so much about the careful balance in social issues such as feminism and various biases.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. His lectures are amazing but he does not cover half of the unit through his lectures. Relying solely on them means you will not be prepared for the study guide, let alone the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think psychology is a super interesting subject. Pofessor Grills has so many hands on activities and makes the material fun to learn.

    Course highlights:

I think the highlight of the course for me was going to a women's jail to teach them a psychology lesson. We were put into teams and had to make a PowerPoint presentation on our specific topic. Not only did it help us learn the material really well, but it was also just a super cool experience to go teach in the jail. The inmates were so engaged in the lesson and it was awesome being able to go there and share what we learned with them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely read the material from the book, and go to the website made by the same company that makes the textbooks for practice quizzes and flashcards.
