This class was tough.
Latin is an interesting language that has paved the way for the languages that we speak today. The professor was sweet and understanding of the difficult nature that Latin proves to be for beginners.
Learning the grammar, vocabulary, and morphology of Latin was focused on a lot. However, the vocabulary was not as important as the case endings and what they applied to. That's where things shifted to a more difficult level, thus, reviewing homework was an every class thing. Help was provided during office hours or over e-mail and the quizzes were straight-forward as well. The professor wrote the book for the course as well, thus, there were no outrageous book fees - a major plus.

Advice for students:
Do not miss classes or at least try not to miss too many. If so, have someone record the course or give you notes. Read the chapters twice, memorize the vocabulary, and if necessary, go back one chapter when you start a new one to refresh your memory.
