    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very interesting and text heavy course

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about various religions and religious practices, however the course focused mainly on Christianity and how it is incorporated into modern day society.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you always do the reading because of frequent quizzes and essays. Also, going to office hours was definitely helpful and appreciated by the professor.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is not too hard at all and is actually interesting. We have large group discussions and then small group discussions that are suitable to just about everyone because the professor does not mind if not everyone speaks in class. Just make sure to do the readings.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of this course was when we had to go to the spiritual monument FAME Church, Los Angeles and sit through and analyze the sermon. We got to bond as a small group of 5 and really experience something different and unique.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give people who are looking to take this class is that you need to be ready to interact with others in your class, as well as the professor. He puts the whole class in discussions and encourages people to step out their comfort zone and talk.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher is very interesting and keeps the class engaged. It is constant conversation, back and forth talk. Also, the material is pretty interesting to learn and think about.

    Course highlights:

So far, the highlights of the course are the reactions everyone had to the Martyrdom of Perpetua. There were so many different opinions on so many different relevant topics and it was just interesting to me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say just to do the readings, or at least know a gist of the reading prior to class because you will be talking about it, no matter what. Some of them are difficult but it just means it takes a little more time to read and analyze it.
