    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging; however, if one plans to acquire a job in the medical field, then it is a great course to expand your mind and knowledge to the type of thinking and material that one will have to grow accustomed to.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about biology that I never learned in high school. The best part of this course is learning to apply concepts to real-world situations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY FOR EXAMS, OR YOU WILL NOT DO WELL!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would no recommend this course because the lectures are not very thorough. Obviously, if you are a science major you are required to take this course. I would suggest that you read the book at pay close attention during lectures.

    Course highlights:

We learned about photosynthesis, cellular respiration, genetics, meiosis, and mitosis. There were four tests during the first semester of this course. Busch only wrote two of the tests. The questions were very specific and not just comprehension they were application.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that it is necessary that the book is read to get a better understanding of the material. More research is probably necessary because all of the information in class is provided in pieces and the overall picture is not often provided. It is vital that you go to class dos too the time, but if you miss class you should be fine as long as you get notes from a friend.
