    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Abnormal Psychology is a critical element that can arise in any client. Learning these mental disorders and how to counsel them can be life saving for someone. They are also very interesting and can bring up a lot of questions and further research.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of this course was getting to do my own research and answer questions I had. I enjoyed the content of the class and felt it was easy to pay attention and learn something new every day.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do research early! Also, if you have questions, ask them. There are a lot of disorders when talking about abnormal psychology and they can easily get jumbled.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course, especially with this teacher because I feel she was extremely gifted in explaining and teaching the material. I always new what was expected and felt that she valued teaching and her students.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course included creating your own case study. We were assigned a specific mental illness to create a profile of a patient. We traded cases and tried to diagnose these case study. I learned the process of evaluating symptoms and giving treatment options.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    It is important to keep on top on the Thinking Like a Clinician assignments and the readings in the text. Much of the content on the test is included in these sources.
