    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed this course with Dr. Young. He teaches US History from a different perspective than I've ever been taught. He focuses on the rights of women and the lives of African Americans. I think that his perspective allowed for some great discussions and really helps to see US History from another point of view.

    Course highlights:

The highlights from this course were definitely some of the discussions of the lives of African Americans and how they evolved. In paintings, and other art, it can be seen how they were seen as less and how African Americans were even represented more than women.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are a lot of reading assignments and the tests cover some of them so it is important to read them. Recitation instructors also look for participation during recitation. Go to lecture on time and pay attention.
