    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned an incredible amount about the Chinese language and even more about their culture. Very interesting and hard work required! This course will teach you more than the language.

    Course highlights:

My first professor, no longer teaching at UB, taught us to be accepting, understanding, and to work hard for our grades. I loved to make the sketches with classmates and record them for the other students. We learned a lot about the culture of China and the country itself. I learned to connect with people through creativity and a common curiosity for learning.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, take notes, practice, do the homework and practice some more.
