Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would definitely recommend this course. It is basically an introductory level class for algebraic topology. The material covered in this class is extremely important for any field of mathematics, not just topology.
Course highlights:
First of all, during the course you learn how to distinguish topological spaces by attaching algebraic invariants such as homology groups, cohomology rings and so on. It gives a great machinery for understanding the interplay between these two different branches of mathematics.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Definitely a lot of exercises. In this class, it is usually easy to understand the concepts and theorems which are most of the time purely abstract. Without applying them to some concrete examples, it is hard to grasp the actual meaning of these concepts.
