    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Otto ran this class as an art history class, which is great if you like art history.

    Course highlights:

We got to see art throughout history which was really cool! It was really interesting to see history portrayed through an art lens rather than a historical viewpoint.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study early. Exams are difficult, often requiring you to recognize a work of art and be able to elaborate on what was going on at the time the painting was created.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was an art history class rather than the typical boring usual history nonsense.

    Course highlights:

Everything was through an art lens, so each event was tied to a particular set of artists and works of art.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Dates are so so so important, as are the association between artwork and artist. Memorize them well!

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You will learn a lot about world history and not about just US history which will make you more well rounded in knowing a little bit of every country's history.

    Course highlights:

For me the best part of the course was when we got to post 1900. I personally enjoy this era because it was more relevant in today's society. I learned a lot about WW1, WW2 and the Vietnam war. As well as even more recent information like how women in Saudi Arabia still have no voice and aren't able to vote.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is open notes and open textbook but that does not mean it is easy I highly recommend actually keeping up with the textbook and readings because then the course will be extremely easy in my opinion.
