    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very difficult course and I do not recommend it to individuals who are not pursuing anything medical or engineering related. If you do not need it towards your degree I recommend taking something less intense and more interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic concepts of physics including kinetics, motion, Newton's Laws, waves, fluids, work and energy, rotational motion, etc. It was difficult to learn the material just sole based off of in class lectures, therefore you begin to teach yourself quite a bit from your textbook and the recitation classes that were provided with the professors TA.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are someone who is considering taking this course I recommend that you be genuinely interested in it and willing to work hard. This course defiantly requires you to put a lot of outside work time, in order to be successful. The textbook is a very useful tool because it outlines every chapter for you and there is a vast amount of practice problems that are readily available to you. Taking advantage of this and any TA office hours is a great way to be successful in this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very difficult if you do not put the necessary time and effort in.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic principals of physics and how to learn in a class of 400 students.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do not put time and effort into this class it will be very hard to succeed. By reading the book and utilizing TA office hours will allow you to be successful.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a rough class, heavily math based and infuriating because you would get a different answer for the problem every time you attempted it.

    Course highlights:

The demos were really good! Labs were also really interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Sit in the front few rows if at all possible, and try not to doze off during class.
