    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He has a very strong Russian accent that is very difficult to understand. hw had nothing really to do with course and was very difficult.

    Course highlights:

The exams were not too difficult and professor was nice for office hours.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours to do homework and actually learn what you are doing. If not just self-teach to know.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommended Kharchilava as a professor to anyone. I struggled in his class because I could not understand his accent and he never explained concepts of physics well.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the homework. He uses a lot of the online homework on the tests. I learned some physics and that I should persistently do my homework.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework and go to every single class. Also, use the TA office hours.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very slow paced towards the beginning. Be sure to do multiple practice problems and write down all the problems he solves in class. First exam had 2 questions straight from his notes. Second half of class ramps up significantly (physics pun).

    Course highlights:

A good intro to college level physics. Professor is tough, but if you are able to survive his teaching methods, you should be confident in all other physics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice problems will easily get you into the B- to A range. Pay attention to notes, but dont just read them, actually write out the problems. There are only so many ways you can say "a ball rolled down a hill."
