    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

One of the most difficult classes, particularly due to density of information. Unless you have a strong science background prepare for a lot of memorization

    Course highlights:

I learned how to bust myths about fast diets, and also a lot of the cultural and psychological factors contributing to weight and health issues

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Form study groups and meet with the TA at least 2 weeks before a test to go over material

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Honestly, the class itself is interesting, but the professor is kind of boring. I have no motivation to travel all the way to south campus just to go to her class. thats why i teach myself of what we learn on that day.

    Course highlights:

The highlight would be the third part, vitamins and all are okay but im more interested in the lifecycle, learning about the maternal portion was very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take good notes.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think this was an excellent beginning course for nutrition studies. It touched on all important aspects of nutrition and its affects on our bodies. I found it to be very informative.

    Course highlights:

I was interested in obesity and its affects on how the body performs and digests foods. I was also interested in how exercise affects the body along with nutrition.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to attend ALL classes. It is a lecture course so there is no homework but you should give the professor the courtesy of attending the class so that you get as much out of it as you can.
