Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you have to work with a group throughout the whole semester. This is beneficial because you really learn how to work with people you do not know, just like everyone will have to do at some point in their careers. You gain public speaking skills as well because you have to present your project to the class afterwards.

    Course highlights:

In this course you get to make a database in Microsoft Access that will benefit a company in some way. You get to learn how make a website for your own consulting group and make a database that will fix the problem another company is having. Then you must present in front of your class, showing why your database is the right solution.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You cannot expect to do nothing and pass this course. Yes it is tough in the beginning but you get used to it. If you pay attention you will learn a lot about management systems, databases, public speaking, and working with groups. It takes effort but it pays off in the end.
