    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because it's the best one to get you into Chemistry and all the processes taking place when elements react. It is a great course with variety of ways to study, it uses a platform called MasteringChemistry that helps you a lot when it comes to homework solutions and studying.

    Course highlights:

The highlights are basically the most important and crucial points to General Chemistry. The course is very "clean"I'd say in terms of information that is too complex and difficult to understand. Instead the essentials are brought to you and you can learn easily. I have learned a lot about what the Periodic Table actually means, how elements are organized, what the relationships between them are and how I can get all the information I need out of the table.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend asking questions during recitations, reading the book that accompanies lectures, going through slides by all professors because they are available and will make your study process a lot more easier. Most of all - be organized, it will work.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Lectures were very long and hard to pay attention to, but if you get a good recitation instructor you'll be fine!

    Course highlights:

Labs were definitely the highlight. Lectures were long and boring, but labs were a lot of fun!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to every lab, and ask your recitation TA if you have any questions.
