    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this professor because he is nice and his notes are easy to read. It is shorter than many teachers and he is the one to create the tests.

    Course highlights:

I learnt many basic stuff in this class and it is almost the same as AP chemistry from high school.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is easy but you need to go to class. If you miss a class, it is hard to catch up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Throughout, the general chemistry course I have learned the basic structures of the chemistry. Which builds upon the foundation of the course, where we have learned all the elements of the periodic tables and the functions.

    Course highlights:

Most of the science major students required to take general chemistry because most of the science courses build upon it. So, we need the basic understanding to succeed in the other subjects. Some of the concepts that I have mastered was atoms structure, reaction, equilibrium, periodic table trends, stochiometry, nuclear chemistry etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Prior to the lecture be sure to read the lecture notes or concept related to the next day lecture. Always be attentive in lecture and take important notes. At the end of the lecture, try to look back on the material and understand the concept and remember important details. The most important things in chemistry is to practice a lot of problems.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a tough subject but the professor is very nice and helpful. Just ask her questions and she is more than willing to help. She is very knowledgeable on the subject. Be sure to take good notes do the readings and study!!

    Course highlights:

The exams are kind of tough. You need to make sure to pay attention to everything she says. Take great notes and do the work. You will learn a lot if you put in the effort. The highlight was when I got an A on the midterm because I put in the work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to stay on track. You do not want to fall behind or it will be VERY difficult to catch up. Be focused in the class and take notes. Attend all the lectures, you don't want to be absent. If you do, make sure you get the notes.
