    Course Overview:

    The course introduces rudimentary knowledge for engineering students, plus it is a requried major for accepted engineering students only. Since the course is extremely broad, it does not get in depth with any specific engineering fields, however it does help prepare you a lot for future courses.

    Course highlights:

    I got to build a wind turbine to generate energy. I got to design the model, make the materials that construct the model and test out the models. This project is extremely research heavy, also expects you to background knowledge. I did not personally have a lot of engineering background, however I learned to about the factors that contribute to the most efficient turbine.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Everything you do in this class is group work, it is extremely importantly to communicate with your team members, and meet out side of the class. Since this course is workload heavy, it is extremely important to not procastinate so you will have time to go over it with your team members, because projects are graded as a group.
