    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course in that it is a easy one to be able to get some college credits in before your high school graduation. However, it's difficult to say for sure because English teachers can vary so widely and have such varying ways of teaching that the class can be more difficult than some describe.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to adapt my writing style to fit what the teacher wants. I also learned how to see the ways that people view the world differently and interpret that because of being able to see others' projects and presentations.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Get lots of help from the teacher so that you're always on the same page and you understand what that teacher is asking of you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a good, helpful class as far as understanding how and why different things should be written about in different ways. It was tough at times, but that's to be expected.

    Course highlights:

We learned how to use MLA formatting and how to write profiles. We also wrote a big research paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use post-it notes in your books. Take notes. Take advantage of time given in class to work.

    Course highlights:

I got more practice in writing thoroughly.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do. Do your homework. Study. And never be afraid to step out and write.
