    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would and would not recommend this course for completely different reasons. If you are planning to complete in the business field, this class is required. It teaches you all about the major concepts of precalculus. I think it is important for freshman to take this class so they have a good understanding of what a college course consists of. This class is mainly graded based off of your test scores such as the two midterms and the final. There is a quiz weekly that is 10 points but those only make up 25% of your final grade. If you are not required to take this course, I would not recommend it as a gen ed because it is a highly difficult course and a class which I would reccomend avoding because it requires a lot of work.

    Course highlights:

As mentioned before, you learn all of the basic concepts of precalculus. Not only is this class heavily math based. I think it really helped my critical thinking skills as a whole because I thought in complex ways that really exapanded my overall knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that students' who are struggling in this class to take full advantage of the math lab because the tutors are very helpful. Also, the professor was very nice and courteous when it came to the class and grades so I would recommend to communicate with your professor.

This class was very unorganized, he was unclear when giving directions. While showing us on the board he wasn't specific on what we were learning.

I enjoyed re-learning things in a new way from a different techer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to check out what professors our good for this class.
