You will be interacting more so with your TA's than your professors in most classes, as professors usually only lecture and then teach the honors section of discussion. But when you do talk to them, you will see they are very dedicated to the topic they teach and their research and writings as well.
They will tell you that you should be studying two to three hours outside of class for every hour you're in class (so a 3 semester credit class = 6-9 hours studying outside of class per week).

Most classes, at least liberal arts classes, are not hard to succeed in so long as you show up to lecture and discussion and turn in your work and study more than usual for finals and midterms.
