    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gives a great introduction to various biology courses.

    Course highlights:

One major highlight of the course is that there is a great focus on perfecting lab reporting writing skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend lecture at all cost and use the provided powerpoints for notes and then add any extra information to them.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mostly because if you are in any of the science majors you are required to take this course, but also because it is a great course that teaches you a fair amount about the basics of biology.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the labs being that they were really hands on and for the most part you could do as you pleased, but it was still relatively structured.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise reading the lap ahead of time at least once or twice, taking detailed notes is also a good thing, just take care to not bog down your notes with too much information.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Make sure you pay attention in class, keep up with notes and do your fair share of studying.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course were the labs as I learned a lot of the core concepts there.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study study study! Keep up with notes, try not to get behind, and study increments at a time rather than cram at the end because with the amount of material you need to know for the tests is too much to cram.
