Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have barely encountered any negative racial, religious, or political discrimination. However this year the university has become more diverse and are working to recruit more minorities as well.Drinking is very popular and also marijuana but not too excessive.

    Course highlights:

You can be on campus and still have fun even if you do not partake in those activities. There are always campus law enforcement driving around campus especially at night and the police station is right on campus so they are always near if not in sight.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is extra security for females for example there is transportation called "Night Ride" which runs from 10PM-2AM where they pick you up from any academic building and take you home on or off campus.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Everyone in Iowa City has no problem with students and they love what we do for the community and sports. We bring the intensity to games and activities and get citizens pumped up.Renovations coming soon to certain areas, but the sites are pretty cool and within a good distance of campus. Cost is about average.

    Course highlights:

They aren't as snobby as people think. I've made good friends with guys from different frats and girls from sororities. There isn't much crime on campus and not a lot of reports on sexual assault. However on the weekends downtown it seems like most of the police.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

However it is only allowed for women and they do not drive outside of a set perimeter which some students find unsafe. When I am walking home alone at night though I do feel like I have to constantly keep an eye out around me.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I was shocked when I signed up for intramural basketball and I saw the amount of teams there were. There were two leagues with easily over a 100 students er league and thats just the two mens leagues. Intramural sports at Iowa surprisingly really competitive.

    Course highlights:

The talent and competition level is high. Most played high school sports in high school but you don't have too. Ton of different intramural sports, with a wide variety as while.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The great life is fine here. There is always a negative stigma surrounding greek life but I'm that is everywhere you go. There is every stereotype about the greek life. However, I have friends in frats/sororities.
