Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provided foundational coursework for the major in speech and hearing science and helped solidify my decision to be a communication sciences and disorders student.

    Course highlights:

This course was a survey course that outlined the scope of practice for speech pathologists and audiologists. It briefly covered a wide variety of topics relevant to the field in an attempt to help students determine their interest or lack thereof in speech-language pathology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and pay attention to the material. Do the readings. The undergraduate speech and hearing major is very competitive because all students must go to graduate school.
