    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's required if you didn't complete a full four years of high school Spanish but I highly recommend taking a college Spanish course as well. It's an entirely new level of learning and Iowa does a great job setting you up in a small class environment to get you the one-on-one attention you need.

    Course highlights:

TONS of vocab and grammar. I got so much better at speaking. It's absolutely out of my comfort zone but it's also exactly what I needed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay ahead on all of your work. The TAs lay out all the assignments on their syllabus and myspanishlab so it's not hard to know what's coming up, but it's easy to get behind!
