Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to people who are going into anything science related because the professor is very helpful in the class and open to helping outside of class. There are many opportunities for points other than just the tests and the material is interesting.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part was learning about acids and bases because that was when it began to apply to the real world more and i could begin to relate it to my daily life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice i can give is that you need to put in what you want to get out. It is a lot of work but if you work hard it will show. There are plenty of resources to help you just need to be the one to ask for them. It is a fun class when you know what is going on so read ahead so you understand what he is talking about in lecture.

    Advice for students:

Make sure to stay on pace with this course. The pace isn't too fast so it should be easy to stay caught up. Ask questions and practice often!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think Dr. Larsen is very passionate about chemistry, it is not an easy first semester course. It is a lot of material to cover. Overall I think it was taught fairly.

    Course highlights:

I really like when Dr. Larsen would do experiments in class or examples in class that helped me learn.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework, and do not get behind. If you are behind one day you will have a lot of recovering to do.
