    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I am of the strong opinion that a professor who was a prodigy in a field should never teach it. Professor Stern is an absolute genius in fluid mechanics, which removes any capacity to understand why anyone else might struggle with it. He is unable to explain things to students beyond "this is easy, why don't you get it". This makes the class very difficult if you do not come into it with a knack, and the professor makes no attempt to help you if you don't.

    Course highlights:

The best part would likely be the CFD aspect, where we learn how to use software to simulate fluid dynamics. It's pretty cool and also not taught by Stern.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Find a professor in the biomedical engineering department that works with fluid mechanics and become their best friend. They actually know what they're doing.
