    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While the course was at times challenging, the content was extremely useful. I had to work hard, but in the end I learned a lot and was able to be successful.

    Course highlights:

I gained information about the world that is extremely applicable. Understanding what makes up our surroundings, and all of the processes that occur everyday helped me to see the world in a completely different way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

While reading the textbook is not required, and I personally did not even open it until half way through the semester, I would encourage it. Some things are left out of lecture due to time constraints, so it's important to at least skim through it. Also, do all of the practice problems assigned, even though you do not get points for them. Several of the concepts illustrated in the practice problems appeared on the exams.
