    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Vecera is such an amazing lecturer. He makes the information interesting and relevant. Your grade will be mainly 3 tests and 2 smaller writing assignments. GO TO LECTURE! If you don't go to lecture, you will fail because that's where to majority of test information comes from. It is not necessary to read the book, although you may find it helpful.

    Course highlights:

Basic psychology topics are covered. The biology behind psychology. Physiology too. The last unit focuses on mental abnormalities like OCD and schizophrenia. Also includes research exposure requirement.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lecture and discussion (new information is introduced in discussion). Spend about 1 hour each day the week before the exam studying, so you have at least 7 hours of studying material. Don't leave the studying all for 2-3 nights. It will be too much information. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, DON'T PUT OFF THE RESEARCH EXPOSURE HOURS. SPREAD THEM OUT THROUGHOUT THE SEMESTER BECAUSE IF YOU PUT THEM OFF YOU WILL NOT HAVE ENOUGH RESEARCH PROJECTS TO CHOSE FROM.
