    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I found this class to be very interesting. If you are interested in animals, this is a good class to take.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the course we learned about the different systems in various animals. It was really interesting to see how animals function differently than humans. In lab we often got to do a lot of hands on learning. I wasn't a big fan of the different animal parts and knowing that animals died so we could do the labs, but we did learn a lot.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is a lot of memorization. On this professors exams there were often small details that were talked about once in lecture so pay attention.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're a nursing major, there's no way you're getting out of this course. It's honestly pretty simple, but the lab and lecture have nothing to do with each other so far. A lot of it is memorization, and you have to study hard by yourself. I haven't gone to office hours; I don't think they would be that helpful. Pay attention to the slides, and do the online homework.

    Course highlights:

So far we've done a lot of the basics: the cell cycle, body systems, carbs/lipids/proteins. The body systems are by far the most fun. Lab is great for that. The most fun lab so far was looking at chicken embryos under the microscope.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Flashcards, learning objectives, and the online homework. Be sure to memorize. Go to SI the week of the test!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a tough course with a lot of material. The exams weren't that bad but keep up with lab because it counts for a huge amount of your grade!

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course was getting to do dissection in lab.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with lecture material and do well in lab.
