    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is required by Iowa State University's College of Design in order to graduate with a BFA in Interior Design.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be more open-minded and creative when establishing my own design process for projects.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Try to be as open-minded to criticism and ideas as possible. Don't allow yourself to get caught up in project instructions because those instructions are only meant to be a rudimentary guide, not a bible for design or the design process. When I took this class, I completely ignored one set of instructions in favor of working in a different direction, and I came out of that project with a perfect score.
